The Rush Revere® series, written by Rush and
Kathryn Adams Limbaugh, introduces children to key moments in American

Bruce Gaither — What’s More Fun than a Pile of Dirt?
Bruce is an entrepreneur passionate about helping families teach financial literacy in fun, modern ways.
His Digital Piggy Bank combines a playful design with a secure QR-code system, letting kids watch
their savings grow in real time. Paired with his interactive flip-book and a companion plush
(designed by The Bear Mill / The Thredyl Press), Bruce is showing children that saving can be both
educational and exciting.
Plush Spotlight: Digit Piggy Bank

✨ Meet Digi
The Digi Piggy Bank is Bruce’s innovative project for teaching kids financial literacy.
His companion book was written to bring the concept to life alongside this lovable plush.
Designed by The Bear Mill / The Thredyl Press.

About Bruce’s Book Project
Digital Piggy Bank: Teaching Kids to Save in the Modern World.
Bruce believes that saving money should be as engaging as playing a game. That’s why he created the
Digi Piggy Bank, an innovative tool that blends traditional saving with modern technology.
With features like QR-code payments, a savings-goal tracker, and parental controls, kids can learn real-world money
skills while having fun. Family and friends can contribute instantly, and children get to see their progress grow
before their eyes. Parents love the safety, security, and early financial education it provides.
To bring the concept to life, Bruce developed a companion flip-book and partnered with The Thredyl Press to create a
lovable plush character. Together, the book and plush give children a tangible, heartwarming connection to the savings
journey—reminding them that financial responsibility can be fun, colorful, and full of imagination.
Why it matters: Kids learn to set goals and practice patience; parents gain peace of mind; and families
can turn everyday saving into a shared, interactive experience.
