About The Thredyl Press
The Thredyl Press is where children’s book publishing, storytelling, and creativity come together.
This is where children’s stories and their creators meet. We celebrate imagination, support new voices,
and stitch stories into something readers can hold onto.

About The Thredyl Press
Where Children’s Stories and Their Creators meet
Why I Created This Site
The Thredyl Press began with a simple thought: stories bring people together. As I wrote my first books, I realized there was a gap for authors, illustrators, and dreamers who wanted a place not just to publish, but to connect.
This site is more than a blog or a bookshelf. It’s a creative hub — a place to share your work, discover inspiration, and join a community that celebrates children’s books in all their forms. At The Thredyl Press, stories and characters find their readers, and creators find each other.
About Me
Hello, I’m Janis Fenton. I’ve spent years bringing characters to life through books and plush designs, most recently with The Hidden Village of Mills Beary and the SnipPets jnr series.
My passion has always been children’s storytelling, not just the magic on the page, but the way stories connect hearts across generations. The Thredyl Press is my way of giving back to the creative community that inspired me: a place where authors, illustrators, and storytellers can gather, learn, and grow together.
